a little bit of everything

Listening to: A Perfect Sonnet by Bright Eyes.
Feeling: alright.
Sorry I haven't been updating, folks. It's been a busssyyy week. I have a new layout up. Weeee. And I took down the tagboard so it seems kinda empty now.
I had my haircut last week. The salon which I usually go to was closed so I headed to Snips since my mum was already getting her haircut there. I've had some pretty bad experiences at Snips. My aunt knows the director and throughout my highschool senior years, I've had bizarre haircuts. He's very unpredictable so there were some good ones and a few bad ones. So anyway, I didn't even wanna get a haircut there so I visited the nail bar in the salon instead. My mum was taking forever so I settled down and had my nails done. Yes, a manicure. My first one ever. I was thinking to myself - what am I doing? But it was a fun experience. I picked a nude colour instead of black. Surprise, surprise. The manicurists were surprised too. After that, I decided to get a haircut after all 'cause I was getting sick of seeing my hair in the mirror. Bad move! I told the hairstylist what I wanted but she wasn't even listening to me. She chopped it all off! Ok, I'm exaggerating. Let's just say she cut it really, really short. Shorter than what I asked for. I was furious but I didn't say anything. After she was done, I headed out without saying a word and I cried in the car. Me. Crying. Over my hair. Holy Mother of God. I don't know what happened to me that day. I felt so stupid afterwards. My mum and aunt liked it though. And my friends thought I looked fine. So basically, I freaked out over nothing. Meh.
We watched the movie, Crash during Media, Culture and Society class last Monday. We have to write a report so I think I'm going to ask my brother to buy the DVD or something. I need to watch it again 'cause I need to refresh my memory. Plus, it's an awesome film.
I just completed my Self-promotion assignment for my Advertising class yesterday. I'm not particlarly happy about it. It's pretty bland. I know I could do better but I was running out of time. Why? Procrastination! I only started at like, what, midnight? I actually stayed up till 6 am and I only slept for two hour in order to finish it. Class was at 10 am and when Kah Meng came to pick me up, I was totally dead. I slept in the car all the way to college. In Media Law tute, Ms Peggy asked us to played a game of Snakes and Ladders. Her version of the game, that is. On every section of the board (paper in this case), there are special codes which lead to the questions that we have to answer for our assignment. It would have been a lot more fun if we skipped the questions part. But I was laughing so hard throughout the game because Mel and Kah Meng had never played it before (which I never thought was possible) and Ben, well, being his usual self. He makes me laugh all the time. After class, Sam, Anne, Wy Kit and Kah Meng decided to go to the city for shopping. I was delighted to find out that Kah Meng could drop me home 'cause I was too tired to take the train. I tried so hard not to fall asleep on the way back so I could keep him company. But it was impossible. So there I was, sleeping in the car on the way back. Typical, typical.
Have you seen the video, Pop! Goes My Heart by Pop? If you haven't, you must watch it. It's the OST for the movie, Music and Lyrics. Hugh Grant is in the movie and video. Both the song and video are very 80's. It's hilarious so make sure you check it out!
Owh yeah, Chien Loong complained that I don't post enough pictures here. So here you go, kid. These are some of the pictures I took and edited for my assignment; HERE, HERE and HERE.
I'm going to go grab a bite now. My stomach's growling.
Tell me about your plans for the weekend =)
xoxo
