I was doing my research and feeling stressed out. And Eman was online so, yeah. Sorry, pal.

Click on the image if you really wanna know how disgusting I was being. I would not encourage it though.

Pretty, new layout. Yippie. Also, I decided to bring back the tagboard since a lot of my friends have been complaining about its absence, especially Akash. Make sure you people drop me lots and lots of fan mail! I mean, messages.

Nothing much to blog about. I'll post some photos in my next entry. As for now, I need do my research on Media Law. Fun.

Listening to: Ten Cent Blues by Eisley
Feeling: happy

I went over to my bff, Tiff's place the other day. I don't think anyone uses the term "bff" anymore but screw it. Anyway, it was so nice to see her and her family. Gah. She lives about, 10 minutes drive from my place but I still miss her all the time. I think she's the only person in this entire universe (besides my family) who doesn't judge me for who I am. I've known her for 9 years now. I know her family pretty well too. I can just head to their kitchen, eat all their food and they won't even mind. They even bring me along for holiday vacations. I miss the days where I spent the night at her place and we'd sing and talk in the dark. Ahhh, good times. A lot of our mutual friends always wonder why we could end up being such close friends 'cos we're a total opposite of each other. Opposites attract? Cliche, I know, but it's true. She dislikes the music that I listen to and I don't fancy most of her radio friendly hits. Although, I did manage to make her like love Linkin Park back when we were in highschool. She's really hardworking and she'd finish up her homework while my head was still up in the clouds. And that leaded to me copying her answers before our Math teacher finds out. She's kinda quiet and I'm, well, not so quiet. She's so forgiving and nice to everyone, it kinda drives me up the wall sometimes. I'd tell her about the latest fashion trends and Youtube but half the time, she doesn't know or bother listening to what I was talking about. She's not entirely angelic. Mess with me and you'll see the scary side of her *smile* But of course, we do share a lot in common. We're both sensitive Cancerians (I'm a day older) and hydrophobic. We love junkfood, horror flicks, Diner Dash and many other random stuff. Owh, and she's modest. Wait. I am too, ok? Just that she's very, very modest.

Me: So how did you find your STPM trials?
Tiff: It was alright. Really tough though *sigh*
Me: Have you gotten your results yet?
Tiff: Yeah.
Me: Owh! How did u do? Any A's?
Tiff: I did okay. Me: Did you get an A for Math, brainiac? *grin*
Tiff: Yeah.
Me: Oh my gosh. Really? How about the rest?
Tiff: Hurm, I got an A for P.A. too.
Me: Holy cow. You got 2A's?
Tiff: And erm...
Me: Wait. Don't tell me you got straight A's!
Tiff: Well, kinda. I got an A- for one of the subjects.
Me: #$%^&*!

Trust me. If I were her, I'd have told the entire town about my good results. Ok, maybe I'm not so humble after all. But I still love her for who she is. I wouldn't want to change her in any way. I better stop before I make it sound awfully corny.

My besties, Tiff and Sarin, the people who keep me ground. An old photo, btw.

Eisley <3

I've been taking random pictures with my new digital camera, especially that night when I had steamboat with my relatives. It's funny how some people hate family reunions. I absolutely love them. There's just so much to talk about.

But they make me miss my dad even more.

Tell me about your best/good friend. =)

Feeling: thrilled.

First of all, congratulations to Dr Sheikh Muszaphar for creating history in becoming the first Malaysian in space! Woohoo!

He's kinda cute. hehe.

So the Hari Raya break has started. I haven't been doing anything productive. Here's my daily routine for this week; wake up around noon, shower, have lunch, do the laundry, watch DVDs or surf the net, have lots of junk food, shower, have dinner, watch TV and chat on MSN, go to bed at 3ish in the morning. Yup, that's about it. Sad, you think? No, I absolutely love it. This is the life. But seriously, I needed the rest.

Yesterday, I went to KLCC for a group meeting for the Advertising assignment. I swear I couldn't hear my alarm but anyway, I woke up late. I quickly got ready and I managed to catch the bus. Just in time, I thought. But nooooooo, the darn driver had to stop for centuries at every stop and we were stuck in traffic for God-knows-how-long. I felt kinda bad for being late but luckily, my friends were nice enough not to mind. Anyway, it's strange to have a meeting in a mall but yeah, we planned to watch Hairspray (finally!) after that. After lunch, Tsoon Kit, Ray and Kah Meng left while Mel, Eman and I went to watch the movie. Hairspray was awesome. Throughout the entire movie, I was trying not to move around too much 'cos the movie made me wanna dance so badly! I think John Travolta rocks everybody's balls off (sorry for the choice of words). He was great in the movie and absolutely adorable. Did I mention that he was one of my first celebrity crushes? I think I was 6. Or younger. Yes, I knowwww.

The Perfect Stranger was unpredictable. Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix was disappointing. Vacancy could have been better. There you go. My reviews. haha. I need to ask my brother to buy more DVDs.
While I was channel-surfing a couple of hours ago, I stumbled across Telematch. OMFG. Telematch is a German TV show from the 70's and 80's. For each game, the contestants would be in weird costumes, making it harder for them to finish their tasks. When I was a kid, I watched this show all the time. It was usually shown during public holidays and that was many years ago. It's such a delight that it's being shown again. Awhile ago, I was laughing so hard that I was in tears. Sadly though, the show was dubbed into Malay. No, it's not because of the language. The one I watched back then was in English but this time around it's being shown on a kids Malay channel (I don't know how to put it but you get my point) so, yeah. The thing is the narrator kind of ruined the show 'cos he was making up stupid jokes that weren't even funny or related to the TV show.
Dinnertime! Till then...

shopping isn't fun.

Feeling: disappointed
Yes, I mean it. Shopping isn't fun. Well, at least for the last couple of days. In between classes on Thursday, a whole bunch of us went to OU 'cos I wanted to shop so badly. I couldn't find anything that I fancy and when I did find something, they didn't have my size. Not even the shoes! Ice-cream cheered me up though.
After we had our Law class, a different bunch of us went to the city to do a little shopping. Heck, I was so excited! Arthur and Eman seemed so dead in the car which made me feel kind of stupid 'cos I was darn hyper. But anyway, I managed to convince Kevin to come along. Like, thank God 'cos the other boys wanted to shop for cameras. Hmm, boys and 'em toys. I practically dragged Kevin all about in Sungei Wang. One shop after another. After dinner, we headed to the new mall, Pavillion. The place was very posh. But anyway, I didn't see anything that I like. Nope, I didn't buy anything. Nah-dah. Sigh. I was feeling slighty cranky 'cos my toes were sore from all the walking. And I was disappointed too. Sniff.
And today, Hoon and I went to Avenue K for dinner. Bumped into Adele, Tsu and Patrick at KimGary. Apparently, Santha was one of the finalists of Miss Malaysia India or something like that and they went to show their support. After dinner, we headed to KLCC and walked a bit. Topshop was packed with people. I was seriously about to give up on shopping (ok, maybe I'm exaggerating) until Mel texted me and invited to the Shopaholic party tomorrow morning. Yay! Shopaholic is this web-based retail shopping thingy and they throw parties every now and then. Bargains at good prices. Hallelujah.
Basically, I've been shopping 3 times this week. No, more like window-shopped. Urgh. I can't wait for tomorrow. I. Must. Get. Something. Pray for me, people.
I'm so dramatic, I know.
