Listening to: Could Be Anything by The Eames Era
Feeling: hungry
Sorry I've been away for some time now. I'm still trying to make myself update more often. It's been a crazy week. I seriously think that my lecturers are on some sort of evil mission to make our lives more miserable. One assignment after another and the deadlines are so close to each other. Coincidence? I don't think so. I think I'm paranoid.
Speeeeaking of paranoid, some mofo tried to snatch my bag outside campus last week. And I wasn't even alone. My friends were there with me but they were a bit blur 'cos everything happened so fast. Luckily, the bastard didn't try to hurt me or anything. He was on his motorcycle so it might be a bit of a struggle for him to do so. I was frustrated but thankful that I only sprained my right arm. You know how people often tell you to let go when someone tries to snatch your bag? Well, I didn't hold on to my bag desperately but I did block it by putting it behind my back, which explains why he couldn't snatch it. I mean, it was an impulsive move. You don't just let go off your bag that easily when someone tries to take it, right? At least, not me. I can't imagine losing my things. I only had less than 50 bucks in my purse but I can't afford to lose my cellphone and iPod. Plus, it'd be so troublesome if I were to lose my ID. It sounds stupid, I know but I just can't. So anyway, I haven't been walking on that street since the incident. I guess I'm a bit traumatized. Time will heal. I hope.
Last Tuesday, I sat for my Consumer Behaviour paper. It was ok. I don't have high expectations. That's the thing about me. I have very low self-confidence. Gahhh. After the exam, I followed Mel home. After taking our nap (which she forced me to), showered and had dinner, Arthur came to pick us up and we headed to Sam's place to celebrate Mooncake Festival with the rest of the gang. After chilling and eating, all of us went to the park to play with candles and lanterns. I don't remember the last time I did that so yeah, it was fun.
I went to Midvalley with Karen, Divya, Adele, Sam and Arthur yesterday. I wanted to watch Hairspray so badly but we were late for the movie so we watched Brave One instead. It was so-so. During the movie, I annoyed Karen and told her what will happen next. The freaky thing is I was right the entire time. Maybe 'cos the movie was that predictable. And Arthur fell asleep! After the movie, we window-shopped a bit. I have so many things to buy. Grrr! Arthur and Karen left and the rest of them followed me back to Ampang. We went to the night market in town and we ate like hungry souls.
I'm going to go have dinner now. Laterrrr.
xoxo
